About Kelsey Zipchen
Kelsey began her career in the classroom, where she spent seven years working with various grade levels and subject areas. She holds Bachelor’s degrees in Arts (English, Spanish) and Education (English, Science) as well as a Master’s Degree in Educational Foundations (Indigenous Education).
In 2017, Kelsey relocated to Toronto with her husband to pursue opportunities in his film and entertainment career. The couple soon began to travel across North America for various projects, providing Kelsey with a unique perspective into teaching diverse learners in many different environments.
In 2018, Kelsey transitioned her career into the field of on-set education and welfare services, and has recently become certified as a California Studio Teacher, enabling her to teach SAG and ACTRA minors from anywhere in North America. To date, she has worked with students on over 20 films, television shows, and commercials, with minors ranging from 4 to 18 years old.
Although Kelsey has experience in all subjects and grade levels across many provinces and states, her primary fields of interest include English Language Arts, English as an Additional Language, Spanish, Special Education, Diversity and Inclusive Education, and General Sciences.
Kelsey holds certifications in the province of Ontario and the state of California. She is looking forward to working with you on your next project!
